Solar Power

Earth Power's has a variety of solar panels and the associated
products necessary to run off solar both in residential and
corporate environments. Our solar panel range starts as small as 5w
and as large as 260w. Our A-grade panels carry a 20 year warranty
while our non-standard panels carry a 5 year warranty.

As the price of electricity continues to rise alternative energy
and especially solar panels have become more feasible and the most
dependable form of producing your own energy. In South Africa we
work out our systems on 3-5 hours of usable sunlight a day as the
photons produced at dusk and dawn are not suitable to charge the
panels at their rated watts.

When considering installing solar power in your environment it
needs to be understood that it is not just photovoltaic panels that
are need but the other three essential items are batteries, a
regulator and inverter. The inverter is need if you plan to use any
appliance that run of the standard 220v/AC power as your inverter
takes the low voltage (normally 12/24/26/48v) and converts the DC
rated current to the necessary AC current to run your
appliances.
